Make chrome Proxy Switchy works in LXDE

Currently only GNOME and KDE based distributions are supported by the ProxySwitchy. We make it supports every desktop environment now. e.g. LXDE or OpenBox. It’s very easy.

First step
Install the ProxySwitchy in Google Chrome and configuration.

Second step
Setup environment variable auto_proxy in ~/.profile.

# auto_proxy for chromium
export auto_proxy="file:///$HOME/.config/chromium/Default/Extensions/caehdcpeofiiigpdhbabniblemipncjj/1.6.3_0/plugins/SwitchyAuto.pac"

Configure openbox to lock screen via xscreensaver

Here we configure openbox to lock screen via xscreensaver when you pressed Ctrl + Alt + L in LXDE.

vim ~/.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<openbox_config xmlns="http://openbox.org/3.4/rc">
    <keyboard>
        <keybind key="C-A-l">
            <action name="Execute">
                <command>xscreensaver-command -lock</command>
            </action>
        </keybind>
    </keyboard>
</openbox_config>

Over!
